MAKERS PLACE carbon neutral plastic & aluminium recycling facility in final build stage in the Maldives

So after years of advocating policy change in the region, I am finally at the long awaited opening stage of 'Makers Place' in the Maldives; A plastic & aluminium up-cycling facility designed and built to handle some of the drinks industry waste that is blighting the region.
I hope this can be seen as a model for further facilities not only in the Maldives, but for other island nations such as the Caribbean, Indonesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Palau, Samoa, Solomon Islands and South Pacific Islands. The facility uses a cost effective equipment schedule with green workflows throughout, including VOC smoke capture technology to prevent any carbon emissions from leaving the facility during operations.
We are just one week away from the buildings completion, and for me now the real work begins by installing the studio designed and custom engineered machinery to implement new workflows that should see upcycled products go immediately into production.
